The Outsiders

Mr. Barber recommended this at the Book Fair. I started to read this book last week. It saddens me that the main characters parents died. I can't imagine how hard it would be to lost both parents at the same time. I wonder if his older brother feels obligated to raise him. Post your comments on The Outsider!!!

    Yeah that is sad I just lost a grandpa and I still can't believe that he is gone so I just can't imagine losing a mom and a dad. I just got finished reading "The Outsiders" and I thought it was a great book, I reccommend it for you,too.

    I am about to read "Milkweed". Is anybody else reading "Milkweed"? Is it good?

    I can not put it down even after I am finished with it! Elizabeth, it really would be bad to lose your parents at such a young age.

    This is so exciting only a few more days until the big competition! I just hope that we will win so we can keep on going! I also can't wait for the outsiders to be the most popular book in the building because of the battle of the books popularity it is making. I guess I will see you guys tommorrow at school although I was hoping someone would reply to me. See ya!
